Audi, the company that showed the world how a truly stylish SUV is made, is announcing it’s newest creation : the Q7 2010. The company came out strong three years ago with an aesthetic, beautiful, powerful and sporty looking SUV – the Q7 and was immediately a huge success.

The 2010 Q7, however, is nothing groundbraking. The company, simply put, has made a number of modifications, both in terms of performance, and looks. The car has also seen some improvement on it’s MPG consumption, something SUV’s are not exactly famous for. The new Q7 has received numerous upgrades, such as aluminium parts,  making it a bit lighter; it’s front side has been redesigned, giving it a meaner, yet cleaner look. New LED front and tail lights provide a futuristic look to the car.Front and back sections were also modified, but the car remains essentially the same.  Audi offers its customers four new colors to choose from, thus the potential buyer may pick from a total of 11 finishes.

Having a SUV brings loads of advantages, besides punching nature in the face- the car has a lot of space to offer, and we mean a LOT: 2000 liters of space, to be exact. Comfort is not an issue, with Audi’s new child delivering state-of-the art suspension systems, with three setting levels :comfort, automatic, and dynamic. This means you’ll never have a rough ride, no matter where you go.

Audi gives a multitude of choices when speaking in terms of power. The 3.0 TDI engine delivers about 241 bhp, which is the smallest engine, then we have the 4.2 liter TDI version offers an impressive 340 bhp, while the biggest version, the cherry on top, the absolute monster is the V12, 6.0 liter TDI, punching in at a staggering 500 bhp. Audi has given some impressive technical data about this bad boy :  1000 Nm torque, a top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph) , and a 0-100 km/h time of 5.5 seconds. Not bad at all, for an SUV. And it does all that, with a fuel consumption of 11 l/ 100 km.( 21 MpG). In case you didn’t know, this is the world’s most powerful TDI engine.

Audi, while bringing nothing new to the table, has made some impressive changes in it’s upcoming model, delivering and impressive, sporty, fuel-efficient(in suv terms),high performance, and stylish SUV.  All in all, we are seeing a facelift that will probably be successful, in a world and time where SUV’s  are decreasing in popularity.
