A new BMW supercar, Z10
Official BMW sources announced that the bavarian car company is working on a bold project mainly focused on developing a ‘green’, environmental-friendly sportscar. The model, known as the Z10, is going to be produced as a limited version, and the technology used will be implemented in all of BMW’s future models. The Z10 is basically BMW’s response to the Audi R8, and quite frankly, with BMW’s history, it will probably top Audi’s golden ghild. The supercar will have an impressive, aggressive, look and will be a pure, aluminium and carbon fiber speed demon.
The lightweight elements used in the construction of the car are said to bring it down to an impressive 1.100 kilograms, making it even lighter than the Lamborghini Gallardo. Let’s focus on power. Supercars are known particularly for their powerful engines and obscene top speeds.

The Z10 does not let us down- it’s V10 turbocharged 5.0 liter engine, adapted from the M6, offers 550 bhp. That power to weight ratio is more than enough to keep you glued to your seat while you’re accelerating up to 312 km/h, the vehicle’s top speed. Impressed yet ? No ? Well listen to this- the naughty Z10 can reach 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. BMW has adapted a lot of Formula 1 technology into the supercar, making it nothing short of super. So there you have it. The Z10. Direct and head-on competitor with the R8, the F430 and the Gallardo. An extraordinary machine delivering brutal power refined through F1 technology, into a nice aluminium, magnesium and carbon fiber, road devouring package.
